You know I love this, Marie! I’m going to miss these little guys, when the weather turns and they migrate. Yesterday evening, we sat out back and watched at least 12 hummies battling over the feeders. They’re amazing creatures.

12!! That is so awesome! We’re happy to get one and to have two zipping around makes us get up and dance 😉

Yes! We’ve had a great hummer season. Next year, keep it sweet and change the juice every 3 days…they’ll come.

Lovely!!! I’m glad you have these photos, Marie. Hummingbirds are wonderful, aren’t they?
No hummingbirds in sight in my yard. 😦

One of the things I love about hummingbirds is hearing them first. Usually my back is to the feeder so I’ll hear a low buzzing sound and I know it’s a hummer 😉 We went for a number of years without any hummers coming around. Don’t know why, but it made us sad. We’ve had two in the last couple of weeks and they’ve been quite entertaining.

I was thinking of you when I posted the hummingbirds. I told my husband about the ones that nested outside your window and he was envious 🙂

Hummingbirds! I was really lucky when I was younger to actually get to hold one in my hands. They’re so sweet. ❤ Great snaps!

Yeah, my family had an outdoor screen room for playing, and one morning we found a hummingbird trapped inside. I had to catch it to release it, but it just sat in my hand for about 30 seconds. It was amazing. 🙂
